  Kory Conrad, Assistant General Manager

Education:  BPAS from University of Regina
Certification:  CSEP-CEP, NSCA-CSCS, AFLCA Resistance Training, NCCP Coaching Level 3 (Distance), NCCP Level 1 (Olympic Lifting)
Background/Experience: I have been personal training since 1998.  My experience involves working with soccer, hockey, squash and running clients.  As well, I have helped clients with programs designed for weight loss, injury rehabilitation, and various recreational pursuits. 
Philosophy:  Through the application of proven scientific principles and research-based knowledge, my ultimate goal is help each individual realize their potential. 
Personal Interests:  Running, weight training, hockey, baseball and soccer.
     
  Amy Shantz , Fitness Coordinator

Education:  Bachelor of Human Kinetics from Trinity Western University
Certification: CSEP–CEP, NCCP level 2 volleyball
Background/Experience: I have extensive knowledge and experience in rehabilitation having worked alongside many physiotherapist, occupational therapists, chiropractors, pedorthists, massage therapists, and a sports medicine physician.  Additionally, I have extensive experience coaching children and youth in a variety of sports including competitive volleyball.  Her clients have come from various backgrounds and fitness levels, and always gain further body awareness and control, and improved posture.
Philosophy: To help people achieve optimal function for activities of daily living and sport performance. 
Personal Interests: I enjoy studying Torah, playing board and card games and a variety of sports.
     
   

Joanna Ford, Fitness Consultant, Personal Trainer

Education: B.Sc. In Kinesiology from the University of Calgary
Certification: CSEP-CPT, MES, Individual Conditioning III
Background/Experience: Since 2006 I have been helping people achieve their goals through personal training. I have experience working with a variety of clients including endurance athletes, mountain bikers, people looking to improve their general fitness, and individuals who would like to lose weight. As a Medical Exercise Specialist, I enable individuals who have been through physiotherapy to return to activity stronger than ever. 
Philosophy: By pushing your limits you gain confidence in your ability to conquer life’s challenges.
Personal Interests: Distance running, triathlon, hiking, Ultimate, weight training.

     
 

Neil Southgate, Fitness Consultant, Personal Trainer

Education: B.Sc. in Exercise Science from the University of Lethbridge
Certification:  CSEP-CPT, NSCA-CSCS
Background/Experience: My background consists of training with individuals and small groups of varied fitness levels and end-goals. From beginner distance running, team sport, specific events, or general weight loss and strength training. I believe training should work toward specific goals while including  proper proportions of each component of fitness.
Philosophy: Everybody has something to train for; with understanding and motivation, initiating an effective plan becomes real.

Background/Experience: I have helped many lifestyle clients with different wants, needs and ailments reach their goals  I’ve dealt with many elite athletes including provincial level ringette, semi-professional motocross, national level biathlon, national level cross country skiing, university level soccer, university level hockey (specifically goalie training), and competitive Olympic lifting.
Philosophy: Keep fit and have fun!

Education: BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.
Certification: CSEP-CEP, AFLCA
Background: Training all levels of hockey players, teaching a variety of group fitness classes and working in rehabilitation settings. Prescribing strength programs for clients with a range of goals from gaining lean muscle mass to improving posture.
Philosophy/motto: The brain can only process one thought at a time, make it a positive

  Anthony Lee, Personal Trainer

Education: B.Sc in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University
Certification: CSEP-CEP, NSCA-CSCS, AKA-RK
Background/Experience: My training specialties include strength and core conditioning, injury rehabilitation and weight management. I have worked with clients with a variety of injuries and chronic diseases, including high blood pressure, lower back pain, arthritis, osteoporosis and artificial joints. My experience in soccer and various sports allows me to provide sport-specific exercise program for athletes.  
Philosophy: It’s never too late to get going!
